Amazon Zagaia
The first project of Heritage Brazil Foundation was to raise awareness of the plight of the people living in the Rio Solimoes area. Locals of this region have suffered through Covid-19 and now a flood that has taken over their area. This flood has restrained the women of the area from accessing the materials they need to create their indigenous baskets. Selling these baskets is their support system for themselves and their families. These beautiful baskets gaining attention has made a name and an image for these women.
Gerando Falcões
Heritage Brazil Foundation works to help raise funds for an organization called Gerando Falcões which has the goal to digitize and transform the favelas of Brazil. Through volunteer work and fundraising for Gerando Falcões, Heritage Brazil Foundation has developed a strong relationship with Gerando Falcões.
